There are many reasons why customers are indecisive at sales events. One of the biggest factors has to do with giving your audience too many choices and forcing them to make too many decisions.

Choice is generally considered a basic pillar of a free society – maximizing individual freedom is essential to human welfare. But sometimes too much choice can be bad. A new movement called “voluntary simplicity” argues that choice can have a paralyzing effect, rather than a liberating one.
